Allyson Browne is Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the High Ambition Climate Collective (HACC), a nonprofit organization bringing together climate champions, innovative solutions providers and progressive industry partners to build enduring power within policymaking institutions. Prior to HACC, Allyson served as Pacific Environment’s Climate Campaign Director, leading their Ports for People campaign to end port and ship pollution.
With more than 10 years of experience, Allyson is a driving force for change in climate and energy policy. Allyson previously served as the Director of Regulatory Affairs for SRECTrade, where she collaborated with industry and grassroots organizations on renewable energy policies; as Chief of Staff to Jared Blumenfeld for California Governor Newsom’s 2018 gubernatorial campaign, Energy & Environment team; and as a consultant on energy in cities, cannabis, and cryptocurrency. Allyson holds a Juris Doctor, Environmental Law from Golden Gate University School of Law and a B.S., Business Administration from University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.
