Douwe van der Stroom works as programme manager within the Port of Rotterdam developing projects that combine digitization and the energy transition. This concept of ‘twinning’ allows the Port of Rotterdam to further accelerate its many projects with clients in the port to further decarbonize toward 2050. Example projects include a blockchain enabled energy trading platform, an open-source hydrogen certification system, identifiers for raw materials passport or an emission monitor dashboard.
