Friedrich Stuhrmann (41) joined the Hamburg Port Authority in July 2021 as Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer.

After obtaining his master’s degree in Transportation Economics from the Technical University of Dresden. He began his career as a Junior Leadership/Management Trainee at EUROGATE in Bremen and Bremerhaven, Dublin, and Hamburg.

He subsequently joined Eurogate in 2008 as a project manager. He moved up in the organization and was Managing Director of ARGE EUROGATE SARENS Nordsee Ost in Bremerhaven from 2011 to 2015. In 2011, he was also commercial manager and authorized signatory for the EUROGATE Container Terminal in Bremerhaven, a position he held until 2018.

In 2018 he was appointed Managing Director of MSC Gate Bremerhaven before he joined the HPA with his current position.
