Mr. Hugues Paris holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Royal Military College in Kingston and a master’s degree in project management. Whether as a strategic advisor or as a manager, he has been working for nearly 30 years in the fields of asset and infrastructure project management. His experiences have led him to work from a sustainable development perspective by trying to find relevant solutions that integrate the concerns of stakeholders. He has been working at the Port of Quebec for several years and now holds the position of Vice-President Sustainability. In this position, there are many challenges and one of them aims to stimulate the energy transition and accelerate the decarbonization of port activities.
