María Ferrer Mena, joining Moffatt & Nichol as an assistant engineer in 2022, holds a Masters in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. She specialises in the planning and development of offshore wind (OSW) ports, with a keen focus on optimising both fixed-bottom and floating OSW staging and integration ports. María coordinates Moffatt & Nichol’s dynamic simulation modelling efforts for OSW ports, where concept plans are developed to build efficient port and vessel logistics models to optimize port operations. Her experience includes conducting feasibility and port appraisal studies, as well as dynamic simulation exercises, advising key industry stakeholders.
