Maurici Hervas is an Industrial Engineer (UPC), specialized in Energy. He is now completing a PhD at Cenit focused on the development of a Strategic Plan for the Energy Transition on the port sector in the port of Barcelona.

During his career he gathered experience in several engineering fields such as a data consultancy for the Altran change management team for Naturgy, as production engineer in the automotive sector industrializing new parts. Later he was the engineering manager of photovoltaic division, performing solar studies and redacting the technical projects. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as general manager of an import/export company navigating all the uncertainty and challenges of the global supply chains. Finally, he started his research in the Port of Barcelona to help foster its energy transition.
